General FAQ's

How to find us? - We are located at Spiersbridge Business Park. As you turn left to enter Spiersbridge Way, you will take the second exit by the circle and drive straight. You will notice a car park on the left and if you look to the right, you will see Reliable Spine which is where we are located. Press the buzzer and someone will let you in.

Is there Parking? -Yes, there is adequate parking at no charge.

What to wear? -Come dressed in comfortable clothes that allow for movement during a session.

What is our cancellation and missed appointment policy? -We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If an appointment is not rescheduled or cancelled in that 24 hours, a full charge will be expected.

Chiropractic FAQ's

What is a Chiropractic Adjustment? -It is a high velocity, low amplitude thrust to get movement into a restricted segment (joint) in the body. It is completely safe when executed by a trained professional. You may hear a 'crack' or 'popping' sound. This is the gas releasing from the joint and not our bones cracking or breaking.

Will the treatment hurt and is it safe? -Yes, it is safe when performed by a trained practitioner. You may experience mild tenderness or slight discomfort after a session. This is common based on individual cases. Your practitioner will always guide you along the way of the treatment and if you are not quite sure about a certain technique, verbalise it to them and there is always a different technique they can use.

Is it safe during Pregnancy? -Yes, there are modification techniques used to accommodate the mum when aligning her pelvis. The practitioner is trained in the Webster Technique that is specific, yet gentle as is commonly used for Pelvic girdle pain.

Are babies adjustments the same as adult? -Most definitely not. The adjustment are a gently finger like pressure to get the segments moving in a baby or child. Its almost like gently applying pressure on an avocado or ripe tomato without squishing it. The practitioner has additional training in treating babies.

Treament FAQ's

What does the first session involve? -When you come in for the first time, a thorough history will be taken to further understand what your presenting complaint may be, a comprehensive examination including postural, orthopaedic, neurological and range of motions checks. Once the practitioner gets all the information required, you will have your first adjustment if indicated.

What happens next? -The next time you come in, a full Report of Finding will be given to give you a better understanding of what is going on with the body, a care plan will be suggested based on the practitioners professional opinion. At this stage if you have any additional queries or concerns, feel free to share with the practitioner. If all is in agreement, you will go on to get adjustments and treatment as indicated or required.

How many sessions will I need? -Sessions an care plans will be recommended and decided at the Report of Findings stage. Based on your presenting concern, care plan sessions may vary from person to person.

Will I need to see a Chiropractor forever? -That depends on what you are looking for. Patients who are interested in wellness care, prefer getting checked every couple weeks to months for a full MOT. This helps maintain how their body performs and feels especially when exposed to various stressors in life. Just like your car needs an MOT, Our body generally requires one too .
